Shipping policy

This policy explains how, when and where we ship orders placed through sandsandfagans.co.uk.

Order processing

We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 working days of receipt. Orders placed on weekends or bank holidays are processed on the next working day.

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is dispatched, including tracking details where available.

UK delivery

We currently ship to addresses across the United Kingdom. Delivery options and costs are shown at checkout and depend on the size, weight and value of your order.

Estimated delivery times once dispatched:

Standard delivery: 2–4 working days
Tracked delivery: 1–3 working days

Delivery estimates are guidance only and may be affected by courier delays, particularly during peak periods (Christmas, Bank Holidays etc.).

Local collection

If you live near one of our stores, you may be able to collect your order in person from Sands (Penrith) or Fagans (Cockermouth) free of charge. Please contact us at enquiries@sandsandfagans.co.uk before placing your order to arrange this.

International delivery

International shipping is not currently offered through the website. If you would like to enquire about an overseas order, please email us at enquiries@sandsandfagans.co.uk and we will see what we can do.

Lost or damaged parcels

If your parcel has not arrived within the expected timeframe, please contact us at enquiries@sandsandfagans.co.uk with your order number and we will investigate with the courier.

If your parcel arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and contents and contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

Incorrect addresses

Please double-check your delivery address at checkout. We cannot be responsible for parcels delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange redelivery (at your cost) or a refund minus the original delivery charge.
